This table demonstrates the difference that can be made by successful international asset allocation, between the best at the top and the worst at the bottom. The performance of P/T regional and global indices are likely to be representative of managed funds, since these typically hold some positions in all the markets within their mandate and often maintain close to neutral weightings.

These results will differ from institutional benchmark indices. Firstly our component national stock market indices generally include more smaller companies. Secondly P/T bond market indices are based on 10 year government bonds, so will be more volatile and thirdly interest earned on holding cash assumes that funds are only invested in the highest quality three month paper.
